Nutrisystem has hired Michael Amburgey, a longtime marketingexecutive, as its new chief marketing officer.
Amburgey joins the Fort Washington-based weight loss companyfrom Oreck Corp., where he helped the vacuum cleaner company defineits brand, develop new media initiatives and drive a successful newproduct development program.
“As we continue to broaden our product portfolio anddistribution channels, Mike’s extensive experience in managinglarge, media-driven brands combined with his deep expertise indirect response marketing, consumer health care and packaged goodsmarketing makes Mike the ideal person for this role,” chairman andCEO Joe Redling said in a statement.
